Amsterdam, 3 hours from Brussels driving is a well-known touristic place for many European (English, German, French, Scandinavian…) so it is quite…packed. Hopefully, after having been looking for a hotel desperately (indeed, we didn’t book our hotel last time we went there…big mistake), we are able to discover the wonderful famous monuments and also hidden places as we like. So come and enjoy with us the assets of this great city which can get together relaxing mood and cultural explosion with many many museums everywhere.
Rijk Museum
Amsterdam, its canals and coffee shops!
Whatever you are looking for, you will be able to find it in Amsterdam: Riding a bike near the canals, the museums (Van Gogh, Rijk, Anne Frank house…), but also the Red Light district and the sex shops for the party animals!
In other words, Brussels and Amsterdam, when you decide the two capitals at the same time, are very different and very complimentary as well. Ideal to spend nice holidays between friends or with your family. Just be careful to wear a thick coat as winters/springs can be bloody cold over there!
